Explaination of Fees and Other Charges

Tuition: Tuition is paid monthly in advance. The tuition rate is based on a yearly fee broken into ten equal payments. Tuition payments are due on the 20th of each month. If the 20th falls on a weekend or a holiday, tuition will be due the day before. In the event of student absence or illness, tuition fees are still due on time and in full. This is because The School incurs long-term financial commitments to guarantee you child's space.

Curriculum Fee (if applicable): Curriculum fees are due in full at the time of initial registration. This is a charge for academic and classroom materials that will be used by the students during the course of the school year. The fee may vary between class levels.

Partial Payments: If partial tuition payments are made, the remaining balance must be paid in full by the due date. If tuition is not paid-in-full by the due date, the $30 late fee will be applied.

Place of Payment: Payments are to be placed in the slotted payment box located near the student Sign In/Sign-Out table in the administrative office.

Late Payment Fees: A $30 late fee is assessed for payments not received by the 20th. Payments not received within 30 calendar days of the due date will be assessed an additional fee of $2.00 per calendar day, not to exceed a total late fee of $200.00. Each (late) month's tuition will be considered separately for calculation of basic and additional late fees.

Returned Check Fee: A $50 fee will be charged for checks returned due to "insufficient funds" or "closed account." The $50 fee, plus the total amount of the returned check, must be paid within two (2) calendar days of The School receiving the returned check. (Note: Upon receiving two (2) returned checks, The School will accept cash or money order only.)

Late Pick-Up Fees: A first-time late pick-up fee of $1 per minute per child will be charged for each minute that a child/children remains in the care of The School beyond the program ending time in which they are registered.

A second-time late pick-up fee of $2 per minute will be charged.

Each subsequent late pick-up incident will increase by $1 per minute

Immediate Availability of Funds: All tuition and other fees must be received in usable funds. Checks postdated will be considered late as the funds are not truly available to us. If you must postdate a check, include an additional $30 to cover the late fee charge.

Cancellation of Student Enrollment due to Delinquent Payment: If payments due, including late fees, are not received within ten days after the due date. The School reserves the right to immediately cancel enrollment of a child unless prior arrangements are made in writing with the School Director. If legal action is required to collect the fees due The School, the parent(s) whose name(s) appear on the child's registration form will be held liable for any or all fees accrued in the collection process.
